District has 68 churches with 53 pastors serving those churches. The counties
include Anderson, Campbell, Claiborne, Knox, Loudon, Morgan, Roane, Scott and Union.
The District has several Missions including
Morgan-Scott Project Cooperative Christian Concerns, Plateau Home School, and Appalachian
Habitat for Humanity.
The District is part of the
Holston Conference. The Resident Bishop is James E. Swanson and the District Superintendent is Rev.
Dr. Adam E. McKee, III.
